District Governor's Goal 2024-2025
Administrative Goals
- To promote and give full support to the programs of International President Lion Frabricio Oliveira
- To bring effective District administration up to Club level as per GAT Program.
- To bring transparency in District Administration.
- To conduct customized meetings – to start on-time, short and effective meetings to the satisfaction of members in the District and Clubs.
- To have monthly reporting of Service Activities and Membership through Lions Portal.
- To encourage Virtual Meeting and Webinar platforms for administrative activities and functioning.
- To encourage Clubs to pay International and District dues for the Lionistic year at one time.
- To encourage each club to get registered under FCRA, Trust / Societies, CSR act and obtain PAN Cards to apply for grants.
- To ensure that PU101 form, membership list and District account are reported within the prescribed time limit.
- To enhance building public image and public relation.
Membership Goals

Mission 576– to add 351 members and 225 Charter members.

To have at least 25 members in each club.

To ensure 100% retention of the members in the clubs.

To ensure minimum 10% sustainable membership growth in each club.

To invite more women and young members in the clubs and give them leadership opportunities.

To invite Lion member’s spouses, family members, friends, and relatives to join Lionism.

To revitalize and revamp the weak and sick clubs.

To remotivate the members with fellowship and exciting service.
Leadership Development

To organize Certified Guiding Lion Workshop, Club Quality Initiative program, New Member Orientation Program like YLLI, DLLI, CLLI & New Voice Symposium.
Strengthening LCIF and DFF

To appraise clubs about LCIF and DFF.

Mission 45 - to enrol at least 45 MJF/PMJF in the District.

To motivate the members to contribute $50, $100, or $200 as Lions Shares or any amount from their heart to LCIF.

To motivate members to contribute to DFF for strengthening our District.

Mission 100% DFF Clubs – every member of the clubs should contribute to DFF.

To promote and guide the Clubs in applying CSR fundings, LCIF and DFF grants.
New Club Extension

Extension of at least 9 new Lions Clubs and 1 Leo Club I each of the Lions Club.

Service Activities

To encourage all the clubs to report their service activities and upload stories to the lions’ portal and achieve 85% reporting

To participate in 8 Global Service Activities - Diabetes, Hunger, Vision, Environment, Paediatric Cancer, Disaster, Humanitarian and Youth

To support and participate in One Multiple One Activity & One District One Activity on specific dates.

To encourage all the clubs for Organ Transplant Awareness

To encourage Clubs to have at least One Permanent Project/ activity.

To adopt and empower a village.

To encourage clubs to have local community need based projects.

To work for the welfare of differently abled persons and senior citizens.

To Promote Special awareness on Diabetics.

To promote all the Clubs to undertake Covid-19 pandemic and other disaster relief service challenges.

Other Goals

To organize at least two TTW and EMEL programs in the district to support Lions Quest activities.

To organize at least 70 International Peace Poster Contests in the District.
